Anna Johansson
HR Manager, Nudgd

Hi Anna, welcome to our team!

Why do you find it interesting to work on sustainability?

At the age of 17, I made an active choice – if I’m going to spend a third of my waking hours working, it’s important to me that I do it at a place that contributes to something good. I associate sustainability with respect. If we make respectful and conscious choices for ourselves, for others, and for our planet, we will create sustainability together.

What made you interested in nudging and behavioral science in the first place?

It started with myself – I wanted to grow and move on to something new, then I thought: how should I do that? After that, I started working as a leader and became very interested in how to make teams feel good and comfortable and perform at a high level. Pretty quickly, I realized that individuals can do a lot, but we’re also deeply influenced by the context and culture we’re in. Behavioral change is truly a complex and fun subject!

What added value can you bring to the organization?

I hope to contribute to the co-creation of a sustainable work environment and sustainable business. I think that’s a beautiful combination to carry with you. When we have a good work environment, we tend to create better business results! Nudgd is – and should continue to be – a leader in behavioral design, and that means we should also set high standards for our internal environment.

What is your favorite nudge and why?

It’s good if we eat more fruits and vegetables. Set out a bowl of different fruits and vegetable sticks. You don’t have to say anything, just set it out. The whole family is guaranteed to eat more green options.

What do you do when you are not working?

I am currently taking a one-year advanced course in sound therapy. I wanted to approach music and sound in a completely non-prestigious way. Sound therapy is very exciting, it can help us enter a meditative state where we get a lot of recovery and conscious presence.
